Rolled Oats are groats steamed and rolled into flakes so they take less time to cook and are very versatile; Instant Oats are steamed longer and rolled into flakes so they take the shortest time to cook but have the highest glycemic index!
Of the three, I typically use Gluten-free Rolled Oats for overnight oats or in any of my burgers to replace bread crumbs and also in baking recipes. The featured recipes are all made using Gluten-free rolled oats from Trader Joes.
